Embellishing at
These items were all finished using an embellisher, or needle felting machine. (The
design is applied with a hand held needle.) This machine looks like a sewing machine but
instead of a regular needle, it has multiple felting needles. (The number of needles
depends on the machine.) My personal choice is the Baby Lock Embellisher. It has 12
needles that can be individually replaced. There are no feed dogs (that's what pulls the
fabric along through a sewing machine) so machine felting is like free motion embroidery.
It's alot of fun and saves hours in felting time.

These 2 jackets are made from polar fleece & are reversible. The designs
were felted (from 100% wool) before construction.
